I got this toy keyboard as a gift when I purchased a stereo Hifi system in an obscure electronic store in Abu Dhabi, back in 2002. It was used hundreds of times, during jam sessions, in various studios, and off course at home with my kids. I sampled all the patches there (that's 100 sounds, plus drums, plus loops...) and recently released some of my favourite sounds as Kontakt virtual instruments along with other keyboards in a new library, BATTLE OF THE MINI SYNTHS.

The little casio recently died :(  No more of these charming lofi sounds...

I can't throw it away, I'll keep it like a trophy!!!

Bateau soleil

This is a close-up of an old poster on a wall. While going to work in the early morning, I was directly drawn to the poster and loved how the strong light made some kind of 'wrinkles' on the old paper.
